Come out and Learn More about Us! Safe Skies has been making progress in raising awareness of the dangers of glass and lighting to our precious bird population. We have been in communications with builders and architects, keeping an eye on development in Howard County, and making recommendations for using bird friendly building design.

Maryland DNR Land Preservation and Recreation Workshop
As part of updating the Maryland Land Preservation and Recreation Plan, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and its partner, GreenPlay, LLC, will be hosting a series of information sessions and workshops to solicit public comment and stakeholder feedback on land conservation and outdoor recreation.
The public is encouraged to attend and provide feedback on the amenities and services for outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, hiking, or hunting.
