The Magical Mystical Vernal Pool - Dr. Mark Southerland, professional ecologist, will be speaking about about vernal pools, the threats they face, and actions governments and individuals can take to support local biodiversity. This educational evening is being co-sponsored by Safe Skies Maryland, a local environmental group that is working to bring building and bird strike awareness to our community, and the Howard County group of the Sierra Club.
