Forest Conservation on the Legislative Agenda

The Maryland General Assembly begins its 2018 session on January 10, and forest conservation is once again on the agenda.

Last year saw the failure of a proposal to require one-to-one replacement of trees lost to development. Advocates are trying again this year.
