Baltimore City Schools Kill Styrofoam Plates

Great news!

Baltimore City schools have teamed up with the Urban School Food Alliance to replace the 225 million styrofoam plates they use each year with compostable plates. The goal is to remove all styrofoam plates from school cafeterias by the end of the year. Read the WBAL report here.
